Busy morning!

Today, my plans were a bit ambitious. TNT + swimming. Why ambitious? TNT is my weightlifting class & I'm almost always "spent" after. Especially in my shoulders. So to swim after... yea...

I went to my 6:50 TNT class, biked for 30 minutes (soft peddle) to chat with a girlfriend, and then a 30 minute swim. I did some pulls during the swim and man were they tough. Powered through and got it done.

A couple of nights ago, I watched "Hungry for Change". Probably the most important thing I took away from the movie was that probably the most important thing to love yourself as you are and you'll start to want to make healthier choices and changes. Interesting concept. One of the specialists in the movie was saying that she has her clients write an affirmation on a sticky and put it in their bathroom on the mirror. Twice a day, they have to look into their own eyes and tell themselves that they accept themselves as they are and that they love themselves. She said that around Day 28, something clicks and they actually start to believe themselves. Maybe it's worth trying?
